GLAMAA hosts various social gatherings and fundraisers, including signature events such as the AUC Bonfire, Homecoming Happy Hour, HBCU Night at LACMA, Back to School Gathering, Pancake Breakfast, Toy Drive and Annual Holiday Party.

Each year, we co-host the Back to School BBQ with the National Alumni Association of Spelman College - Los Angeles to celebrate and fellowship with the new freshman and their families. In addition to a fun-filled afternoon with food and music, scholarships are distributed to deserving recipients.
Dr. Young's 60th Birthday Fundraiser
Join us as we raise 60k for our Scholarship Fund. In Honor of Dr. Young's 60th Birthday to help young men from the Los Angeles area get to and through Morehouse College.
HBCU Night at LACMA
Jazz at LACMA is a celebration of L.A.’s finest jazz musicians, and features the art of jazz as practiced by leading Southern California artists. Each year, HBCU alumni, family and friends residing in the Greater Los Angeles area represent their alma maters on the designated HBCU Night at LACMA.

Join us and the women of the National Alumni Association of Spelman College - Los Angeles at Pips on La Brea for our annual Spelhouse Holiday Soiree! Please bring an unwrapped gift to be donated to a local charity.
